WHAT ARE KERATIN BONDS
Keratin Bond Extensions or K-Tips are small individual strands of hair bonded together with safe hair grade keratin glue in a flat shape. K-Tips are attached to the clients hair strand by strand using minimal heat from a K-tip wand allowing the keratin to be molded into a bond that looks like a shoestring in the clients hair.
Keratin Bonds are the MOST natural and seamless install on the market as it is built upon the foundation of your hair. It is a natural enhancement to what you already have.

Carefully installed to protect the integrity and health of your hair, Keratin Bonds are one of the safest seamless extension methods on the market.
With proper care, they can last 5 to 6 months depending on the client's lifestyle.
TYPES OF K-TIP INSTALLS
Due to Keratin Bonds being completely customizable and virtually undetectable, there are 3 different types of K-Tip Installs. Explore the different installs to see which install is best for you!
KERATIN BOND INSTALL
The Original K-Tip Install
Keratin Bonds are the original version of K-Tips placed in a grid-like pattern, row by row in the client's hair with each K-Tip next to each other.
While K-Tips can be placed anywhere in the client's hair, a client can not part their hair anywhere without the K-Tips being shown.
To get the best experience with K-Tips it is suggested that you communicate where you want to part your hair.
ILLUSION BONDS INSTALL
The Silk Press Enhancement
Illusion Bonds also known as Invisible K-Tips, are K-Tips placed in the clients hair to create the illusion that a client has no extensions in their hair.
Illusion Bonds add length, a NATURAL volume boost, and blend seamlessly into the hair allowing the keratin bonds to seem invisible or non-existent to the naked eye.
VIXEN K-TIP INSTALL
The Hybrid K-Tip Install
A Vixen Keratin Bond Install takes the versatility of the Illusion Bond Install and the Placement of the Keratin Bond Install and creates magic.
The Install allows you to part your hair down the middle and straight across to create 4 sections.
Inside the sections K-Tips are installed, row by row, and next to each other

WHICH INSTALL
IS RIGHT FOR YOU?
While each Keratin Bond Install is made up of the same thing ( K-Tips) the outcome is different based on the clients density and the placement of the K-Tips. When deciding which install is best for you, you need to know your desired outcome.
No install is better than the next, it is all about what is better for you!
KERATIN BOND INSTALL
This install is best for clients who want to achieve the maximum amount of density from their install. Because there is no space between K-tips or any hair left out between rows in the install, you can fill your hair up with K-Tips while having a minimum leave out of just your crown, edges, and the perimeter of your hair without K-tips.
ILLUSION BOND INSTALL
This install is best for clients whose goal is to have a VERY natural look with some added length and volume to their hair. A completed Illusion Bond Install can be described as an enhancement to your silk press as to create the illusion, more of the client's natural hair is left out to allow the K-Tips to nest in your hair and disappear.
VIXEN K-TIP INSTALL
This install is best for people who are wanting some versatility but not wanting to lose the volume of an Illusion Bond Install. Vixen K-Tip Installs give the illusion that you don’t have extensions but still allows you to have the joy of more hair being added to your hair.

CLIENT REQUIREMENTS
Depending on your density of your hair, your desired outcome, and the type of install you choose there are a few requirements that you must meet. This is something we will discuss in the consultation.

Natural for at least 4 months
To keep the integrity of your hair, We do not work with relaxed hair as it has already been broken down to its weakest point and adding an extension to it may cause more damage.
If you're nervous about your hair staying straight, you should add a Smoothing Treatment to your service.
Smoothing Treatment

Amino Acid Treatment
A smoothing treatment is an amino acid treatment used to tame your hair. ​
The treatment helps fight against frizz and humidity. It lasts up to 3 months before another one is needed. Smoothing treatments DO NOT take your curls away.
It simply alters your curl patterns and allows your hair to stay straight longer.

For example, if you would normally have to straighten your hair once a day, you may not have to straighten it for a week.
Your hair will still be curly , just not as curly as when you started. If you love your curl pattern now,

DO NOT GET A SMOOTHING TREATMENT. ​
Your hair will look different once it's in your hair.

Can I Bring My Own Hair?We do not allow clients to bring their own hair due to the importance of having quality Keratin glue on the Flat Tip Hair used in the Illusion Bond Install. If the keratin in weak or improperly made, this could impact the longevity of your install. Aside from the Keratin on the Flat Tip hair, the quality of the hair is also very important. We only use TOP Quality Raw Cambodian and Burmese Hair when doing Illusion Bond Installs. We've had our vendor for 10 plus years and KNOW the quality of their hair. You will not be disappointed with the quality of the hair nor our ability to Texture Match your hair to perfection.

How does Maintenance Work?There is NO Mandatory Monthly Maintenance. Once you get your K-tips there is no moving up, tightening, re-taping, or anything else! The install typically last for 5 months as long as you take care of your install. You should shampoo your hair as needed. Before you leave the salon you will receive a care guide that explains how to PROPERLY maintain your K-Tips yourself or have another stylist to maintain them for you. If you choose not to shampoo your own hair, you can always book a "Shampoo Service" with us. Maintenance Appointments Price: $175

How does the Take Down Work?K-Tips should be removed after 5 to 6 months and should NEVER be removed at home! ​ When it is time to remove your K-Tips you will come into the salon and a special remover is used to break down the keratin on your hair and dissolve the extension and allow it to EASILY SLIDE off your hair! While this process sounds easy, IT SHOULD BE DONE BY A PROFESSIONAL Once your K-Tips are removed, you CAN NOT reuse the hair. You would need to get a new set of K-Tips in order to get them again. You can get a Re-install same day but please note this adds 2 hours to your install service. Take Down Price: $250

What forms of payment do you accept?Your Deposit is made using Zelle or Apple Pay The Remaining Balance is paid with Zelle, Apple Pay, or Cash WE DO NOT ACCEPT DIRECT CREDIT CARD, PAYPAL, VENMO, OR CASH APP PAYMENTS. If you would like to use your credit Card, you will need to add it to your Apple Pay Account.

Do you Offer Refunds?Unfortunately we do not offer refunds as the time spent and the extensions used can not be returned. If you are unhappy with your install we will do EVERYTHING we can to make you happy if we can.
HOW TO BOOK K-TIPS
THE CONSULTATION
There is a consultation required to book K-Tips prior to being approved for an appointment .
Consultations are done via text messages.
This is purposely done so you and I both have a record of what we agreed upon. Consultations are also used so that I can see your hair.

Your pictures are used to SEE YOUR HAIR. That being said, I need to see your hair WITHOUT extensions.
Picturea and or videos need to show your hair as it would be the day of your appointment.
Show your length, density, texture, problem areas.

THE DEPOSIT
There is a NON REFUNDABLE Deposit of $100 to $250 for all appointments.
The amount of your deposit is based on if you need your extensions colored or not.Deposits are paid with ZELLE OR APPLE PAY.
Once the deposit is paid, you will receive the address to the salon. The deposit goes toward the total balance of the appointment.
The remaining Balance is to be paid in ZELLE, APPLE PAY, OR CASH!NO CASH APP, CREDIT OR DEBIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED.
THE INSTALL DAY
K-Tip installs can take anywhere from 5 -12 hours depending on the density of your hair and the type of install you get. This time is on a case by case bases and also does not include any extra services like color or hair treatments.
K-Tip appointments start at 8 am or 2pm.

Out of State ClientsPlease be sure to book your arrival flights either the day before your install or the first flight out and book your departure flights as the last flight out or the next day.
